Lunker

A Screen Play by Woody P. Snow, based on an idea by Rich Snelson

Winner of the GOLD "REMI" AWARD for "Best Comedy" at the nation's
largerst and oldest independent film festival, WorldFest-Houston, Lunker is
the story of a man who must choose between a woman and a fish - a romatic comedy centered on a bass fishing tournament in BRANSON, MISSOURI.

The woman is his ex-fiance. The fish is the biggest large mouth bass ever seen by human eyes.

John "Lunker" Johnson is about to be proclaimed by the Book of World Records as the greatest bass fisherman of all time.

In the meantime a big time con artist returns to BRANSON not only to bring gambling and corruption but to steal away the only girl Lunker has ever loved, by promising to make her a star. She's a Branson entertainer who has given up on Lunker and his obsession with fishing.

Lunker has some life changing decisions to make. Does he go for the gold, fame and glory or does he save the girl and BRANSON from the craftiest villain since cholesterol?

If these were the only three people in the story it would be simple, but other colorful characters complicate things with a family crisis, a mystery, a hilarious jewel heist, and the crazyiest bass fishing tournament of all time.

Finely woven, LUNKER is a solid screenplay that showcases the energy, the beauty and the humor of Branson in a way that no other format could.
